Boston Talent Partners was founded by Jarrett Mackin, a Boston-based recruiting and HR operator who has built and led talent organizations inside some of the city’s most successful technology companies.

Jarrett has led talent functions at CarGurus, Klaviyo, and Transcarent, partnering directly with founders and executive teams to scale organizations from early-stage growth through hypergrowth and IPO-level complexity. He was responsible for foundational hiring across leadership, go-to-market, and core business functions, building early teams and hiring infrastructure designed to scale without breaking. Along the way, he hired countless President’s Club–level performers and leaders who helped define how those businesses grew.

Many of the leaders and early hires Jarrett brought in during formative stages continue to successfully drive their organizations forward today, with core team members often staying five to ten-plus years as companies scaled.

 

After completing his MBA with a focus on leadership and organizational transformation, Jarrett founded Boston Talent Partners to apply and share that hard-earned judgment, helping the next generation of founders make critical people decisions early, avoid costly missteps, and build teams designed to last through IPO and beyond
